What's in my make up bag?

We all strive to find the perfect make up that suits our shape, tone, colour and complexion. I always find myself asking others how they got their skin to look so flawless, or how they've got their eyeliner so perfect. So after searching and searching I have managed to find some great products on the market that are affordable, high quality and keep your face feeling fresh! So here's whats in my make up bag at the moment! Enjoy!

Maybelline New York Fit Me Powder £5.99 from Superdrug
This beautiful powder glides on the skin and stays on for a very long time. You can top up throughout the day or evening without the product looking powdery and thick. The smooth powder gives a glorious matte effect, banishes extra shine and makes your skin look radiant and healthy.

I use the shade 'Soft Honey' which has more of a warmer tone as it matches my skin perfectly. When you open the product it doesn't look like much, however a little goes along way, especially with the powder applicator puff that comes with the product. Overall this product is amazing. I have been through so many different face powders trying to find one that doesnt dry my skin or make it look thick and powdery. This powder is light and versatile and is a wonderful purchase for just £5.

Rimmel London Baby Skin Primer £7.99 from Superdrug
I have only just recently been looking into face primers, as I have heard a lot of good things! It has taken quite a while to find one that will stay on my skin, keep it looking radiant and glowing, and sit well underneath my foundation. Thats when I found this little beauty! The smoothest primer I have used so far.

This glides on the skin and you can instantly see the results. Skin is left looking super smooth and healthy. This really does do what it says on the tube as my skin was baby soft! The primer stays on well unlike other primers. Even once your foundation is applied you can still feel the smoothness all over. The primer also helps to keep the rest of your make up on well throughout the day. I found this was overall one of the best primers so far. The tube is of medium size and a little tiny pea sized amount will cover your whole face. Bargain price which will last you ages!

Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation £7.99 from Boots

This foundation is one of my all time favourites. After bottles and bottles of foundation I have finally found a fantastic product that smoothes your skin, keeps it looking healthy, glowing and flawless. Fit me foundation has no oils, no waxes, no nonsense. The natural coverage leaves the skin the way its meant to be..fresh, breathing and natural.

The exclusive translucent base and lightweight pigments allow skins natural highs and lows to show through. I use shade 120. This is a honey beige shade that gives me a hint of extra tan as I do like looking a little browner!

Rimmel London Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel. £3.99 from Superdrug

Everyone loves highly defined eyebrows. The celebs love it too. So to get the celeb look when it comes to eyebrows you need to go no further than purchasing this Rimmel London eyebrow defining pencil. Coming in a number of shades this lovely pencil gives your eyebrows a natural looking definition. No mess, no smudging. This pencial is amazing as it also comes with an eyebrow brush that attaches to the lid of the pencil.

I would definitely reccommend regular sharpening with this brush as the pencil softens quite quickly and won't give you as much accuracy as a sharper pencil. I love that these pencils come in different shades depending on the tone of your hair. I use shade hazel as it is right in the middle of the shade chart and looks natural and evens out with my hair colour.

Kate Moss for Rimmel London Lipstick £5.49 from Superdrug.

Okay, we all love a red lipstick and what better than to purchase a shade of rouge created by the one and only catwalk supermodel Kate Moss. Her range of Rimmel lipsticks range from subtle nudes to dark and deep reds. My favourite shade right now is the darkest of the red colours in shade #107. I thought I would hate this lipstick on my skin but I LOVE IT!

I think this will be my new favourite autumn/winter lipstick as it complements pale skin and looks amazing with dressed up outfits.  I love dark, mulberry, red wine shades but have never worn it out of the house before because I simply haven’t felt confident enough, but this is just incredible. These babies are only £5.49 each which is an absolute bargain considering you’d be paying around £14 for a MAC lipstick of the same quality.  Considering most high street matte lipsticks I’ve tried leave my lips dry, flaky and show up any dry skin, these glide on like silk and feel really moisturizing.  These lipsticks also smell lovely, a light vanilla scent which disappears once you apply. Perfect! Tip: Apply a high shine lipgloss if you don't fancy a matte look one day..it looks fabulous!

MAC Bronzer in shade 'Golden' £20 from any MAC cosmetics store or online.

A lightly frosted, tinted powder that gives skin sheer, natural colour effects and highlights. Ideal for enhancing a skin tone or to accent or strengthen a tan. I'm really happy with the effect that this bronzer gives. It gives you a very natural tanned look and evens out your skin tone.

You don't need a lot of it so you really get your wear out of it, I have had mine for months now and its still going! This gorgeous matte feel bronzer glides on and stays on throughout the whole day! I like to use a little more on my cheeks to contour my cheekbones, which is great as this layers on the face smoothly and evenly. A hint of glitter is present which adds a great all round glow. Perfect for perking up your face in the cold winter months, or topping up your tan in the summer seasons! Great all year round! This bronzer is a great little compact and can be taken almost anywhere with a smart mini mirror inside. Tip: Use your finger to grab a little bronzer and apply to the eyelids to create a sunkissed eyelid look!

MAC powder blush in shade 'Dolly Mix' £18 from any MAC store or online.

I have been wearing this blusher for over a year now and it's safe to say it is the best blusher I've ever used! I have quite a warm skin tone and I use the dollymix blusher which looks absolutely gorgeous on my skin and blends really well. Many blushers I have used in the past seem to apply in a very blocky manner and is left uneven across my skin. However this MAC blusher lasts for absolutely ages as a very little goes a long way!

I gently apply this with the tip of my blusher brush until I am happy with the colour, I then blend in evenly and it greats the most gorgeous look! Remember to start off with a little, as it can become very bright if you start swooshing your brush into the pallette and applying it all directly to the face. With a hint on glitter it really brings out the warmth in your face and skin tone. I would recommend this blusher to anyone. The price may seem a little steep for the size of the pallette you recieve, but I promise you it willl last for ages. Tip: Try a paler blush shade if you have a dark olive skin tone.

Barry M lip paint in shade 'Nude' £5 from Boots

Now this my fellow bloggers, is the best of the best! Remember a while back when girls used to cover thier lips in foundation to try and achieve a matte, natural looking lipshade? Well that was the biggest no no ever! If you're like me and love minimal make up looks and what to create a very dainty look using nude lipstick, then this Barry M lip paint is the perfect product for you. This shade is flirty, feminine and really accentuates a glowing tan, without looking tack at all!
Here below is an example of what the lip paint looks like on:
This product glides on so smoothly and leaves your lips feeling highly moisturised. The subtle shine can be tamed down simply by just patting the lip paint in softly. I love how the colour is even and there is no layering involved. Simply glide on and you're good to go! One thing I would say however is it isn't as long lasting as the matte lipstick from Rimmel (as previously mentioned above.) This is one of those lipsticks that you will have to have on you contantly if you want to wear it all day. I would say this shade of lipstick lasts around an hour before it needs a light top up! But all in all this is one amazing colour when it comes to lipsticks! Give it a go yourself as the price is amazing!
