The Top 6 Contour Kits

Contouring is becoming one of the most popular make-up techniques this year, so more and more beauty brands are creating contour kits for people just getting started, right up to the professional make-up artists who want to expand their collection.

Below are my top 6 of the best contour kits available on the market right now. All products include a link in the title, which will take you straight to the product page online! Thank me later!

The ultimate contour kit for advanced contourers! This beautiful palette features 13 shades of Bobbi's skin flattering Corrector, 14 shades of Creamy Concealer and 20 shades of Foundation Stick. Could you really ask for more?!

The cream incarnation of Anastasia’s bestselling Pro Series Contour Kit is here! 4 palettes, each starring 6 shades of sheer-yet-pigmented, buildable sculpting and highlighting creams, to enhance your features and grant a more ‘3D’ effect. Perfect for advanced make-up artists, but also comes with a step-by-step contour guide for beginners!

Beautifully smooth and blendable, the Clinique Chubby Stick is a great investment for contouring. These chubby sticks last for ages and a little goes a long way. The super blendable sticks come in a variety of different colours which makes it easy to find the suitable shades to match your skintone.

A feminine collection of shades including bronzing, blush and highlighting powder. The Naked Palette from Urban Decay. This palette is perfect for everyone and creates a beautiful finish effortlessly. The palette also includes a generous sized mirror to help a smoother application!

Availbable in Light, Medium and Dark, the Sleek contour kit is a great start up kit for many beauty lovers. The Sleek Kit contains gorgous warm tones and includes shimmer shades too.

A great purchase for beginners. I actually bought this and wasn't 100% sure if I could do it, but after a couple of tries I was already noticing how well the powders blended and the difference in the look of my face. It also comes complete with a cheatsheet inside to get you started!

Winter Berry Beauty

With Autumn in full swing and Winter just around the corner, it's time for a make-up makeover. Fresh porcelain skin, smokey eyes and statement berry lipstick is back.

November is one of my favourite months to give myself a little make-up restyle, so below I have gathered some of my favourite make up looks, favourite lipsticks and celebrity styles all in one little berry inspired post...

Get Yourself A Berry Lipstick
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo - £5.50 - Superdrug - Shop Here
To complete any make up look, a berry hue lipstick is the ultimate statement this season. My favourite lippy for this look has got to be Monte Carlo by NYX Cosmetics. The smooth texture glides on beautifully and lasts longer than your average product. Team with smokey brown eyes for a bold and daring look in seconds.

Perfect Your Smokey Eye Routine
Too Faced Natural Smokey Eye Kit - £32 - Debenhams - Shop Here
Smokey eyes add instant glamour and oozes femininity. The best smokey eye for this season is made up of a variety of browns, golds, deep chocolate hues and classic pink tones. The Too Faced Natural Smokey Eye Kit is perfect. The product is a saint as it helps you create your chosen look that can be updated from a natural day smokey eye to a high fashion look with the help of a seriously well thought out pallette.

Opt For A Matte Nail Varnish
Barry M Matte Nail Paint - £3.99 - Boots - Shop Here
Barry M is by far one of the best brands to look at if you're after specific colours and shades. The Barry M paint lasts forever and the latest matte range has been updated with this beautiful colour called 'Burgundy Crush'. The berry hues are perfect against any skin done, from pale porcelain to a dark olive. The matte effect works wonders and will complete your winter berry look with ease.

October's Style Icon: Sean Miley Moore

If you're currently watching the latest X Factor shows, you'll notice that many of the new contestants have some incredible modern and up-to-date styles and looks. One in particular caught my eye. I found the amazing Sean Miley Moore an inspiring character and I absolutely love some of the outfits he has showcased to the nation during the competition.

The 24-year-old singer first took to the stage in a rather fetching black patent pencil skirt, which he wore with a sheer long-sleeved top, patent leather peak cap, daring gold hoops and a pair of boots and red berry lippy to complete the look.
